We are pleased to be retained on a Regional Total Rewards Director search for a European-headquartered Manufacturing conglomerate. At its core, the incoming will take ownership of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets, including Greater China. As among the most recognisable names in the industry, the client shored in approximately $20 billion in profits for FY2023 despite challenging economic conditions. In line with such positive business outlook, they are keen to uplevel their Total Rewards offering. This role is based in Singapore, leading a team of two/three direct reports.

Reporting into the Global Vice-President of HR, the incoming will be part of the organisation’s transformational plans pipelined, which includes both the introduction of continuous revisions to existing frameworks as well as the proposing of new solutions to ensure competitiveness. In line with their renewed vision of transitioning Human Resources (HR) into a more business-enabling function, another key mandate of the role lies in the provision of year-round consultation to business and HR stakeholders within APAC, partnering the global team too. Corporate and interpersonal communications, particularly in terms of facilitating mindset changes and obtaining relevant buy-ins, undoubtedly form the backbone of this role.

We are looking for a Total Rewards expert with strong experience at the regional level, ideally from complex, multinational corporations with noticeable headcounts. You should bring with you knowledge of best practices for both the design and execution ends of the Rewards spectrum, encompassing the arenas of compensation, benefits, performance management and global mobility. Candidates with the ambition, drive and grit to progress quickly will be looked upon favourably as there is a clear pathway to upward advancement.
