VP, HR Risk & Compliance (financial svcs/banking)
Our client, a dynamic, small growing financial firm, is seeking an experienced professional to join their People Team as VP, HR Risk & Compliance. This strategic leadership role is critical in identifying regulatory risks and ensuring compliance across all HR processes. As a key player, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage HR-related risks, compliance, and governance activities, helping drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Oversee HR risk management, compliance, and governance strategies
🔹 Act as a technical expert in HR regulations within banking
🔹 Partner with HR process owners to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance
🔹 Lead HR-related investigations and change management initiatives
🔹 Develop and deliver training programs for HR and non-HR employees
🔹 Collaborate with internal audit and legal teams on audits and compliance issues
Qualifications:
✅ 7+ years of experience in HR operations, compliance, and governance
✅ Experience in banking
✅ Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and risk management strategies
✅ Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
✅ Excellent communication and leadership abilities
