Job Summary:

A fast-growing international company is looking for a Payroll & Accounting Specialist to support its operations in the Netherlands. This role will be responsible for managing on-site payroll and handling accounting tasks for two Dutch entities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing, bookkeeping, and statutory reporting. This is a dynamic position that involves a combination of payroll management, accounting, and compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management:

    • Process monthly Dutch payroll using Nmbrs, ensuring timely and accurate calculations.
    • Handle salary, bonus, overtime, and deduction calculations in accordance with Dutch labor laws.
    • Maintain employee records and manage pension obligations.
    • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, supporting new hires and departing employees.
    • Manage correspondence for the 30% facility tax ruling and support visa and migration-related processes.
  2. Compliance & Reporting:

    • Stay updated on Dutch labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
    • Prepare statutory reports, including tax filings and pension contributions.
    • Oversee compliance reviews and annual audits (e.g., NEN4400-1/SNA), maintaining accurate records.
  3. Accounting:

    • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks for the two Dutch entities.
    • Manage tax-related processes (e.g., VAT, corporate tax) and prepare annual accounts in coordination with the external accounting firm.
    • Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L) to monitor revenues and EBITDA.
  4. Invoicing:

    • Raise and follow up on sales invoices in collaboration with the collections team to ensure timely payments.
