Role: Learning & Development Specialist
Location: New York, NY
Hybrid: 3 days in office
Compensation range: $175-225k base salary plus generous bonus
Our client is a top tier global quant hedge fund looking for an L&D Specialist to join their team in New York.
Working in a tight-knit and collaborative team you will be responsible for building out a new vertical for the business! L&D is already an existing function with great success but they would love to expand their offering and this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and really put your stamp on things.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing curriculum – a mix of designing and working with vendors
- Liaising with key stakeholders across the business
- Budget planning and management
- Tracking success and performance
- Determining key metrics and preparing reports to analyze gaps for the business
It’s an amazing role and one where you must be comfortable both working strategically/driving the vertical but also getting stuck in to the day to day execution.
Key requirements:
- 10+ years‘ experience within L&D
- Experience building out an L&D function and with designing curriculum would be a huge benefit
- Experience working within a fast-paced and high-growth environment
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working within a financial or professional services firm would be beneficial but not required
