Our client is a global financial firm looking to make their first US HR hire. This HRBP will lead all people efforts for ~60 employees in the US/Canada, growing by ~100 employees via the integration of an acquisition in the coming months. This is locally a standalone role sitting as part of an established, global HR team offering collaboration and support (CPO, HRBP team, L&D, TA, HR Ops based in London).

The firm is seeking an experienced business partner coming from specialty insurance or financial services environments. Well-rounded HR skills with depth of experience in ER and performance management is sought, along with desire for a role spanning from c-level/executive advisory to day-to-day generalist HR coverage.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop the local HR offering within a high-growth firm. They are based in downtown Manhattan with 3 days in office.
