About the client: Our flexible lawyer platform provides clients and practice groups with swift access to a community of high-quality consultants to address their flexible resourcing needs. This platform is a key part of our Alternative Legal Services offering, which includes paralegals, support lawyers, legal project managers, and legal tech professionals. By drawing on talent from across the UK, we embrace a fully location-agnostic model to ensure we have access to the widest possible pool of talent to meet client needs.
The Role: As a Senior Talent Advisor, you will be integral to our team. You will support a specific desk focused on banking, capital markets, financial regulation, and investment funds placements. As our platform evolves, you may be asked to refocus on other practice areas or desks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Attraction and Pipeline: Implement strategies to ensure a constant flow of high-quality consultants. This includes identifying new talent sources, targeted marketing, engaging with our alumni community, leveraging networks, and market monitoring.
- Recruitment and Quality Assessment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a professional and personalized experience. This includes screening applications, conducting interviews, coordinating feedback, assessing candidates, making offers, obtaining references, and overseeing onboarding.
- Relationship Building: Engage and build relationships with consultants aligned to your desk, ensuring their profiles are updated and they are ready for rapid deployment.
- Subject Matter Expert: Develop technical knowledge in your practice areas to enhance engagement with consultants and practice groups.
- Working with Practice Groups: Build relationships with partners and practice groups to assess applicants and ensure they meet quality standards. Leverage networks to attract top talent.
- Community Building: Support the growth and enhancement of the consultant community through events, benefits, training, and other initiatives.
- Searches and Matching: Assist the Client team in identifying and matching suitable consultants to client needs, leveraging your knowledge of consultants‘ skills and career objectives.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the global Talent Team, providing cover or additional capacity as needed. Contribute to the development and streamlining of team processes and systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar role within a flexible legal resourcing or alternative legal services platform.
- Excellent interviewing skills, combining emotional intelligence with commercial acumen.
- A committed, collaborative team player.
- Strong rapport-building skills, confident and articulate, comfortable dealing with senior consultants, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Structured, disciplined, and focused, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A genuine interest in the financial services sector and the careers of the consultants you will support.
