L&D Facilitator & Instructional Design Specialist
Our client, a progressive professional services firm that leads in its field and is known for its exceptional culture and people, is seeking a Learning & Development Facilitator and Instructional Design Specialist to develop both their key revenue drivers and wider corporate staff.
The Learning & Development (L&D) Instructional Designer and Facilitator will collaborate with teams across the Firm to ensure the development and implementation of effective learning solutions that enhance employee performance. This role will focus on building on current programs and will involve the identification, assessment, design, execution, and management of learning initiatives, systems, technologies, and vendors to drive better performance outcomes.
Key Focuses:
* Collaborate with internal teams and the broader L&D function to understand the learning needs of employees at different levels, creating customized training programs.
* Identify and implement training solutions that improve both Firm-wide and individual employee performance.
* Design tailored training programs that address employees‘ unique needs to develop or enhance job-related skills.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to create content such as training outlines, scripts, manuals, job aids, and course materials.
* Provide support and guidance to stakeholders, enabling them to facilitate training sessions within their own teams.
* Develop diverse training formats (e.g., Web-based, on-demand, blended learning, simulations, assessments) using a variety of design and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline,Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Animaker, iSpring/PowerPoint, and Captivate.
* Lead training sessions across multiple topics for various organizational levels, employing a variety of formats like group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
* Design and assess program effectiveness through metrics to ensure training objectives are met.
* Conduct needs assessments to determine the skills, knowledge, and abilities required to meet performance standards.
* Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design, facilitation, and e-learning techniques.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS :
* 7+ years of experience in learning and development from within legal or other professional services industries, with work that covers revenue drivers within that environment.
* Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in organizational leadership or a related field preferred.
* Experience in creating and supporting organization-wide training programs addressing both technical and professional skills.
* Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences at all levels.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with employees at all levels of an organization.
* Proven track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, as well as external trainers, coaches, and consultants.
* Proactive team player with strong self-management and process oversight skills.
~The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 and will be determined by a variety of factors, including skills and experience. The firm offers a bonus, excellent benefits, and progressive work/life integration, including a heavily hybrid in office model requiring 2 days per week in office. (fully remote is not an option).
