We are pleased to be partnering one of the Consumer Goods giants in Southeast Asia to appoint a Group Head of Rewards into the organisation. With history dating as far back as at least five decades ago, the client is a huge proponent of constant innovation, having successfully shored in more than $3billion in revenue in 2023 through a blend of traditional and new offerings. Currently, it has more than a thousand products across 40 categories, of which a third of them were only rolled out in the past five years. In keeping up with such business successes, they are looking for a Subject Matter Expert with the vision/foresight to develop a comprehensive C&B roadmap that would allow Human Resources (HR) to contribute even further. Based in Singapore, this is a team management role.

Reporting into the CHRO, the successful individual will fundamentally drive meaningful compensation, benefits and performance management strategies as the premier expert within the organisation. As this operates at Group level, you will take full ownership of the Total Rewards pillar, especially Executive Compensation (e.g. managing c-suite packages, fronting RemCo). Leading a team of five direct reports, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of compensation, benefits, salary, leveling, HR analytics, benchmarking data, monitor modern trends in compensation plans, performance plans, etc. Preparing and delivering an effective communications toolkit on rewards programmes and policies is equally important due to the ongoing transformations, ensuring that the workforce is sufficiently educated on the organisation’s pay-for-performance philosophy.

This role will undoubtedly require candidates who have strong knowledge of C&B best practices, particularly within the Consumer Goods, Retail and Hospitality sectors as the employee population goes beyond white-collar professionals. Experience operating in a Group environment, especially with regards to the design/administration of long-term incentive schemes, is highly favoured. Ideally, candidates with a blend of consulting (especially executive compensation) and inhouse, corporate experience are well-positioned to take on this challenge. Aside from possessing the requite knowledge, strong interpersonal skills are also key since this is a stakeholder management heavy position.

Thanks for your time. Please apply to find out more about this role or reach out to Janard LIEW at janardliew@frazerjones.com for a confidential discussion.
