Frazer Jones is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading global buy side organization to appoint a Head of HR APAC to join their high performing HR team across the region.

Reporting to the Head of HR International based in another region, this individual will partner closely with the APAC CEO, Country CEO’s and the broader regional leadership team across APAC to consult and advise them from a people perspective. This individual will lead the people strategy, regional and international HR projects, HR Advisory and oversee HR operations end-to-end. They will lead and oversee the strategy and execution of annual HR processes such as employee relations, talent and succession planning, performance management, salary and bonus review, working closely with the HR COE’s offices such as New York and London, working closely with Group HQ in another region. This individual will operate in a strategic and hands on end-to-end HR BP Lead role with a strong relationship management focus. This individual will lead an experienced team of HR VP’s across geographies such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia and a number of other markets, supporting a total population across APAC of circa 600+ and growing. This individual will also lead HR projects such as office / market openings e.g. FMC JV’s in China etc – experience in this area is preferred.

This individual will have a track record operating as Head of HR APAC (Director / VP) in an international buy-side / investments firm, leading a geographically dispersed team across North Asia and Southeast Asia, partnering closely and collaboratively with broader Group and Regional HQ’s such as EMEA and Americas, working as one international HR team. They will enjoy providing bespoke people solutions and a high touch consultative service to the business, being able to drive commercial outcomes as well as deep-diving where necessary from an execution perspective. Chinese speaking is required due to the daily liaison with stakeholders in China. This individual must be comfortable working closely with EMEA and Americas timezone wise due to the close proximity and liaison with the other offices and the lean nature of the teams.
