HR Advisor – EMEA (12 month FTC)
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual to join a high-performing global Human Resources team.
This role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract, starting in January 2025.
As an HR Generalist you will work alongside senior stakeholders, Managers and other key partners to ensure people are managed effectively to deliver against the firms strategic priorities. Primary areas of focus are:
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business building trust and offering commercial support
- Managing employee relation cases and being the point of contact for initial conversations
- Headcount and business planning
- Supporting employee development by means of identifying development needs, helping to maintain a continuous feedback culture, and heling to manage transfers, secondments and exchange programmes
- Advising Managers on policy and best practice relating to performance management and employee relations issues
- Driving forward the annual appraisal, salary and bonus review process
- Conducting exit interviews and advising on policy, best practice, and any recurring themes that become apparent from interview data
- Contributing to the firmwide DEI strategy, working with Managers to drive progress
- Supporting on a range of special projects, relating to either client groups or HR strategy
- Supporting all three international offices and the stakeholders with any ad hoc requests
Background
- Previous experience operating at an advisory level, within a commercial environment
- EMEA or global coverage
- Extensive knowledge of the generalist HR function
- A confident and effective communicator who is able to influence, as well as being robust when challenged
- Ability to take ownership and work autonomously
- Commercially aware and comfortable working with data and MI
- An individual who is keen to learn and develop their existing knowledge
