Payroll & Benefits Lead
We are pleased to be partnering a European-headquartered Financial Services Group to appoint a Payroll & Benefits Lead into their regional Human Resources (HR) team. They pride themselves on devising bespoke solutions tailored to their clients’ specific goals and expectations, primarily through blending investment portfolios with personal values so as to derive the largest and most meaningful returns. Based in Singapore, this is an individual contributor role with pathway to team management.
Reporting into the HR Shared Services Lead for Asia, the incoming will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing as well as the effective running of employee benefits programs, operationalised through their HR Information Systems. This includes but is not limited to the following:
- Responding to queries and resolving discrepancies on all payroll and benefits related topics
- Drive payroll processes for all employees inhouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies, applicable laws and regulations
- Run and tailor employee benefits programs, including health insurance and other company-sponsored benefits
- Partner stakeholders such as Finance, HR Information Systems (HRIS), Rewards and other teams to operationalise related processes across the individual markets
- Assist in the development and communication of related HR policies and procedures
- Participate in Payroll, Benefits and other HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll, benefits administration, HRIS and to raise overall employee satisfaction
Ideally, the incoming should come with the requisite Payroll and Benefits skills as part of a HR Shared Services (HRSS) team at the regional level (Asia/Asia-Pacific is ideal). Desirable personal qualities include someone meticulous, proactive and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
