60 second interview: Christian Selby

Christian is a candidate relations manager in our Amsterdam office.  

Like many of us, he took up running during lockdown. Here, we chat to him about this and other hobbies.

What was your first ever job?
I worked at a food and drink start-up, we would make homemade bottled cocktails. 

What’s the best place to go if you really want to find out what’s going on in the office?
I mean we’re pretty open plan, so it’s usually someone shouting across the room!

What do you do at weekends?

Lately a lot more running and being outside walking throughout the city. Been doing loads of cooking and catching up with friends as much as we can these days. 

Which talent would you most like to have?
I’d really like to be good with languages.

London.

What is your most precious possession?
My colleagues of course.

What did you want to be as a child? 
An explorer. 

What is your favourite film?
Some Like it Hot

What was the first record you bought?
Gorillaz

What’s your favourite holiday destination?
Fiji
