Job Title: Recruiter, Temporary

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 3-6 months

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days/Mon-Thurs on-site, 1/Friday days remote)

Job Summary

The Tech Recruiter will develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates across various functions within the organization. This is a temporary, 3-6-month position with a hybrid work schedule-requiring 4 days on-site, Mon-Thurs, in New York, NY, and 1 day; Friday, remote each week. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for tech roles.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee the full recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and collaborating with hiring managers across multiple departments.

· Partner with department heads to develop accurate job descriptions and clear hiring criteria for roles in IT and other functions.

· Design and implement targeted recruitment strategies tailored to each department’s specific needs and role requirements.

· Assist with posting job openings, managing recruitment advertising campaigns, and using various channels to ensure visibility and attract top talent.

· Collaborate with hiring managers and HR teams to finalize job offers, including recommending salary ranges, bonuses, incentives, and start dates.

· Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies.

· Represent the organization at job fairs, college recruitment events, and networking opportunities to build relationships and attract qualified candidates.

· Perform additional recruitment-related tasks as needed to support organizational goals.

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Proven experience recruiting for IT toles

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions and manage expectations.

· Strong ability to design and execute strategic sourcing plans for a diverse range of roles.

· Highly proactive and self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Deep knowledge of recruitment laws, regulations, and best practices.

· Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Comfortable with a hybrid work schedule, including 4 days on-site in New York, NY, with the flexibility to work remotely on the other 1 day.

Education and Experience:

· At least five years of experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, with experience recruiting across IT roles.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds occasionally.
