HR Advisor
My client a leading law firm are looking to hire a HR Advisor on a 11-month fixed term contract. This role is based in London, and you would be required to attend the office 3 days a week.
Supporting 2 HR Business Partners you will be providing commercial and pragmatic HR Advice and support. Duties will include:
- Acting as the initial point of contact for line managers, offering advice and guidance on HR policies and practices
- Coaching and guiding line managers to promote formalised communication and objective problem resolution,.
- Working with stakeholders to fairly manager employee relations cases including dispute resolution, disciplinaries, absences, grievances, retirement and redundancy
- Updating HR Business Partners with case work progress
- Supporting the Business Partners with the delivery of any upcoming people projects
- Working with the HR ops team to assist with processing the full employee lifecycle
To carry out this role you must have:
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law
- Proven experience in managing cases through to conclusion, balancing the needs of the business and the individual.
- Experience of providing hands on support and guidance in formal meetings such as disciplinary, grievance and formal consultation.
- Experience working for a law firm would be preferred
