Senior Compensation Specialist (m/f/d)
on VP level
to join their global HR team in Munich.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening and managing their compensation framework across their global subsidiaries. You’ll bring your strategic thinking and deep knowledge of remuneration regulations to ensure their compensation programs remain compliant, fair, and market-competitive.
Your role will focus on several crucial areas. You’ll oversee their governance and policy development, making sure their compensation programs align with corporate standards and strategic goals. You’ll coordinate the Group Compensation Committee’s activities, including their global compensation reviews and annual remuneration reporting. Working with salary structures, bonuses, and long-term incentives, you’ll design programs that meet both strategic needs and regulatory requirements.
Compliance is a core responsibility – you’ll ensure we follow all relevant compensation laws and regulations at local and global levels. and serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and HR leaders across our subsidiaries. The role includes managing governance standards for equity compensation and carried interest programmes, while maintaining strong alignment with performance metrics and business objectives.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a university degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of compensation experience. They are looking for someone with strong integrity, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels in an international setting. You should have a solid understanding of governance structures and bring careful attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
The ideal candidate will be both independent and team-oriented, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Fluency in both German and English is essential, and previous experience in Financial Services would be a significant advantage.
